Currently have horizontal dowel perches but they’re always fighting over spots. Thinking about V-perches or box perches instead.

Currently have horizontal dowel perches but they’re always fighting over spots. Thinking about V-perches or box perches instead.
What style do you use and why?
V-perches are my go-to for widowhood cocks. Each bird gets his own spot, no fighting.
The angled design also means droppings fall to the floor instead of on the bird below.
Only downside - takes more space than horizontal perches. But worth it for peace in the loft.
I use box perches for my stock birds. Basically small individual boxes on the wall, open front.

Downsides:
Combination works best for me.
V-perches for racers in the flying section. Box perches for breeding pairs. Simple dowels in the young bird section where numbers change constantly.
Different sections, different needs.
