Our club AGM is next week. What topics do you think are worth raising?
Want to be constructive but there are some things I think we could do better. How do you approach club meetings?
Come with solutions, not just complaints.
Worth discussing:
- Race schedule changes (if needed)
- New member recruitment ideas
- Transport arrangements
- Financial health of club
- Rule clarifications
Avoid: Personal grievances, rehashing old arguments, anything that turns into “he said she said”
Be the constructive voice. Clubs need people who want to improve things, not just complain.
If you want change, volunteer to help implement it. Nothing gets committees moving like “I’ll take care of that.”
People who complain but don’t volunteer get ignored. People who step up get things done.
