Planning to pair up my stock birds this weekend. Seems early but I want youngsters ready for late spring.
When is everyone else pairing?
I usually wait until late January or early February. Gives a bit more daylight.
But if your loft is warm enough and you have lighting, early January works fine. Just make sure the hens are in good condition.
