Got a new bird two months ago. She stays completely separate from others. Eats alone, perches alone, flies alone.
She’s not being attacked - she just seems to prefer isolation. Is this normal? Should I worry?
Some birds are just loners. As long as she’s:
- Eating well
- Healthy
- Not being bullied
Then it’s probably just personality. I’ve had a few like this over the years.
She may integrate more when paired for breeding. Or she might always be the quiet one in the corner. Both are fine.
